1st June 2016, Dar es Salaam. Former Speaker of the National Assembly Hon. Anna Semamba Makinda paid her first visit to UONGOZI Institute today. During her stay, she held official talks with her host, the Chief Executive Officer of UONGOZI Institute, Prof. Joseph Semboja, and also met other members of staff. Hon. Makinda goes on record as the first woman Speaker of the National Assembly of the United Republic of Tanzania, a position she held from 2010 to 2015.
