  1. I didn’t catch the meaning of this ‘statement of originality and ownership of intellectual property rights’. Can i get extra explanations to understand this?

    1. Hi Rahma, thank you for your comment. The Statement of Originality serves as a declaration that the content is originally produced by the contestant and that sources/references used in the essay have been acknowledged. Essays must be submitted with Statements of Originality. The template is already there (click on the link), all you have to do is to download, fill in the details, sign and submit it together with your essay. Wishing you all the best.

    1. Hello Oromidayo, thanks for your comment. Please check again, when you click on the link, it should be able to download a template of Statement of Originality in MS Word format.

  2. Hello, concerning the statement of originality, should the information as well as the signature be filled physically with a pen and then scanned for submission or they should be filled digitally?

    1. Hello Muhammed, you will have to edit the template provided and then sign it. Your essay must be accompanied with a scanned copy of Statement of Originality. If you are having trouble to access the template, please email us: info@uongozi.or.tz and we will share it.
